Dr. Raul Ramirez Martial Arts Biography

Dr. Ramirez has trained in various martial arts and in multiple countries.  He trained in the guerilla fighting style of Bangau Putih Silat in Bali, Indonesia.  Sanda and Shuai Jiao training In Beijing, China with the top coaches for the China’s professional teams.  He is also a Certified Catch Wrestler trained by British Catch Wrestling master, and international wrestling champion, Billy Robinson. Trained with Roy Wood at the Snake Pit Wigan, and was a winner in the Snake Pit Wigan International Catch Wrestling tournament.

Dr. Ramirez is a 2 time national champion in full contact Sanda, and a Silver medalist in international Sumo Wrestling.  He also is trained in Brazilian Jujitsu and Muay Thai.

Another specialty of Dr. Ramirez is ancient Kung Fu fighting styles and meditation from Qi Gong, Xing Yi Quan, Tai Chi and Yue Jia Quan to Yin Yang Palm, etc.  He is the only American allowed to learn from renowned Kung Fu master, and vice president of the International Liu He Ba Fa Association, Lu Feng-Lin.  Dr Ramirez's expertise is as diverse as it is deep.

His passion for the sport fighting shows most when he is teaching: enthusiasm, motivation and a drive to bring out the best in his students.

It's my favorite activity in class, where detail, flow of motion, and individuality come together.
